Somnifox support & help

Somnifox works fully offline, with no ads and no account, on iPhone and iPad.

Quick start

  1. Tap + to add a sound (rain, waves, forest, fireplace, white/brown noise, etc.).
  2. Drag each bubble to adjust volume (up/down) and balance (left/right).
  3. Tap the play button to start and set a sleep timer if you want.
  4. Optional: enable Allow other apps’ audio in Settings to mix with your music or podcast app.

Language in the app

  • Open Settings → Interface → Language in Somnifox.
  • Choose your preferred language or keep “Follow device language”.
  • Changes apply to menus, labels and messages inside the app.

Restore purchases

  1. Open Somnifox → Settings.
  2. Tap Restore purchases.
  3. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Premium.

If Premium is still not unlocked, please email support and include:

  • Your device model (for example iPhone 13, iPad Air 5).
  • Your iOS / iPadOS version.
  • Whether you bought Monthly, Yearly or Lifetime.

Manage or cancel subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. You can view, change or cancel your Somnifox subscription here:

Manage Apple subscriptions

  • Use the same Apple ID you used for the purchase.
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.

Troubleshooting

No sound

  • Increase your device volume and make sure the Silent/Ring switch is not muted.
  • Check that headphones or speakers are properly connected.
  • In Somnifox Settings, make sure Allow other apps’ audio is on if you are mixing with music.

Timer stops earlier than expected

  • If Low Power Mode is on, try turning it off temporarily.
  • Keep Somnifox in the foreground if your device battery is very low.
  • Disable aggressive battery saving modes or Focus profiles that may pause audio.

Premium not active after purchase

  • Check that the purchase was completed in your App Store account.
  • Try Restore purchases in Somnifox Settings.
  • If it still does not work, contact support with a screenshot of the purchase or Apple receipt.

About billing

  • Somnifox is free to download.
  • Premium is available as Monthly, Yearly or Lifetime (one-time purchase).
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase.
  • You can cancel or change your plan in App Store settings at any time.
  • The app also works without a subscription, with a limited number of ambiences, sounds and themes.
